We’ve made a huge amount of progress since our last post, now it’s just a matter of touch ups before the spaces are ready for occupancy. The second floor received it’s final coat of epoxy last night, and the new radiator grills have been installed. The slots in the grills have been cut in racetrack shapes, a theme that will be repeated through-out the building.
Now that the final coats of paint are on, the texture of the concrete ceiling really pops out. The units have developed a cool, raw, and solid look to them. A striking contrast to the warm colors and rickety feeling of a yaletown post and beam building.
We’re thrilled with the way these units are coming together. If you’re in the market for commercial office space, please contact Jay to arrange a tour.

You can also see in this image the 1/2″ reveal between the drywall and the rough, concrete ceiling. We’re continuing this reveal right around the perimeter walls, which will give the impression that the ceiling is floating.

Our leasing signs have finally arrived! You’ll see three of them on the corner of Granville and Pender. The bolts were placed into the grout, so as not to damage the building. When they come down, basic repointing will fill the holes.

I snapped these photos last week in an afternoon. They show the 5th, 2nd, and 3rd floors which are all in different phases of work.
